It is not always easy for one to tell a story or express themselves the same way others do. In life, through everyday experience - by any means - in many ways, one can easily be facing challenges, often, one feels oneself is being really small and should not and/or cannot speak about it but had to get on with their lives. Although, there are countless people who want to express their stories and the experiences however they feeling not only in a circle of insecurity influenced by traditional thoughts but also lacked opportunity. Where one's experiences and their stories remained underreported - it crucially needs to be explored, documented and disseminated.

Dare To Live To Dream, Cam-bridge Gay; Representing Realities on Film (2019: YouTube)

How one chooses to express cannot easily be communicated. Through an alternative form and its dynamic methods, artistic means with digital, mobile phones, participatory reporting, film and digital media production, while documenting about one's everyday experiences, ThaiCommunity offers not only the community and the possible ways where one can express but also opportunities to share the communication - noise about - so viewer can hear and see insights about them, informatively.

Focus on underreported and underdocumented everyday experiences, the ThaiCommunity works attention on the journey of Amnard Pimmasri's life, people and communities he met and around him. Pimmasri works with the participants and the communities - those he travels with and to, in Thailand, United Kingdom (UK), and elsewhere.

"Underreported" and "underdocumented" herein refer to community, people, experience, information, story or news that has not reported, documented, or has reported or documented as less than the actual level or amount by mainstream media, or responsible agencies and authorities; for instance, the story and information regarding non-normative gender, sexuality, community, minority groups, or non-popular individuals and things people usually feel ashamed to express about. ThaiCommunity is for everyone, we would love to meet and have you on the journey.

Pimmasri (also known by his nickname Noom) is a Digital Documenter, Filmmaker, Community Reporter, Fundraiser, and Artist. While enabling one to express thoughts, stories, experiences, activities, behaviours, pleasures, relationships, etc., his work conveys not just about theirs and his but also ours, of our existence for all;

"Being liked by others is a good feeling; I want to be liked, so what I do and all my works, but more importantly, I want to help. Whether, if there will be no like, still, I would usually produce the work, allowing communities, the people and myself to express ourselves and the experiences - that we cannot do the same elsewhere. To me, life is not always easy, whereas for someone 'to live and to dream' is often impossible without support by and/or from others; when one can communicate and express themselves through my work, the like is considered a bonus - not an objective. It is vitally important that one can express so one can see and hear what one wants to say. I consider my work is not just a meaningful manner of communication, to and for, me and the underreported individuals I work with, so the people I have met, but also expressive about the world we live in, it is hoping that where one can express people will understand others better than they think they do".

Aims to tell underreported experiences, document valueless information and, create alternative forms of communication informative that bridges between experiences, people, communities, and more. ThaiCommunity is a current project of his, where one can express so their everyday experiences and thoughts can be delivered for further interpretations and thoughts that will bring about change in our lives.

Founded in January 2017 while conducting his PhD in Oxford United Kingdom. ThaiCommunity is self-funded, with donations and support through several kind forms, both private and public, from family, friends, colleagues, the associated communities, the organisations and people like yourself.
